Electrical Engineer
CHAD
Industries develops sophisticated automation equipment for
many industries including circuit board and semi-conductor.
We are
seeking a Control/Automation Electrical Engineer to address
our current growth.
Requirements
-
Experience designing electrical controls
for robotic and pick and
place automation equipment.
-
Clear understanding of CE requirements.
Experience designing and
testing to meet CE.
-
Experience with AutoCAD and the creation
of schematics.
-
Ability to specify electrical components
and sub systems including
motors, power supplies, I/O systems, sensors etc.
-
Strong
trouble shooting skills.
-
Excellent
communication skills. New designs require interaction
with Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, the customer
and the
Assemblers.

Programming
experience a plus. PLC, Adept V+, Visual Basic.

Ability
to build and test prototypes.

4
year degree in Electrical engineering.

Application/Field
Service
Engineer
As
an Application/Field Service Engineer, you will be
developing and installing applications with Chad Industries
Robotic systems and peripheral
equipment in the Electronics, Semiconductor and Medical industries.
-
You
will work closely with Project Management and Engineering
to
understand and develop application solutions, then successfully
execute the application.
-
You
will be responsible to install CHAD Industries
systems, providing customer service support, training and
problem solving skills.
-
Additional
responsibilities include training customers on
the operation, programming and maintenance of CHAD systems.
Good written and
verbal communication skills are required to provide customer support,
develop product documentation and customer training.
-
Job
duties will include precision mechanical assembly, application
development and trouble shooting, installation and service.
Qualifications
- Two
or four year engineering degree.
- Strong
mechanical aptitude. Comfortable working on
mechanical
assemblies and at ease with understanding how they work.
- Programming
and electrical control experience a plus.
- Strong
trouble shooting skills.
- 2+
years related industry/equipment experience.
(Entry level is
available)
- Strong
communication skills.
- Must
be highly responsible professional who can
perform work
independently or coordinate others as required to solve application
challenges.
- Enjoys
travel. This position will travel throughout
the U.S.,
Europe and the Pacific Rim.
